Michael Duane "Mike" Whiting, 76, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. He was born on September 24, 1949, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan to Anita (Bouts) and Richard Whiting.
A Vietnam veteran and Delphi retiree, Mike was known for his strong work ethic, diligence and dedication. After retiring from Delphi, he found renewed purpose on Wasmiller Farms, where he found fulfillment in working the ground.
Mike cherished life's simple pleasures-listening to sports talk radio, flipping through the latest Auto Trader and spending quality time with family and friends.
He is remembered by his wife, Jennifer Whiting; his daughter, Dr. Samantha (Whiting) DeNardo; and his sisters-in-laws; Merrie (Stephen) Whiting, Gayle (James) Whiting, their children, many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Anita (Bouts) and Richard Whiting and his brothers; Stephen and James Whiting.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Albee Township Community Center, 10645 East Rd, Burt. MI.
