Micheal (Mike) Alan Zlab, 77, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Cancún, Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Wichita, Kansas.
Mike was born to Kenneth and Claire Zlab and grew up with his siblings Van (deceased), Randi, and Dave in Leon, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage; his children Jennifer (Rob) and Jeffrey; and his stepchildren Erin (Travis) and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his stepson Scott. He is also survived by his grandchildren Taylor (Shianne), Kassie, and Cole, and his step-grandchildren Adley, Kinsley, Beckham, Harlow, and Kove as well as one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his grandson Christian.
Mike spent many years working in management at The Coleman Company and Johnson Controls.
Mike was motivated by personal challenges and enjoyed pushing himself. He valued an active lifestyle and had a strong interest in health, biking, swimming, hiking and travel, always looking for opportunities to stay active.
Mike will be remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cared deeply for his family.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
