Miguel A. Marquez

Miguel A. Marquez, 70, of Somerton, Arizona, passed away on March 26, 2026.

He was born in 1955 in Mexico to Miguel and Esperanza Marquez. He grew up in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, and later moved to Somerton, Arizona, where he lived for over 40 years.

Miguel was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Hermelinda, for 44 years until her passing. He was a proud father to his children and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren.

Miguel will be remembered for his hard work, dedication to his family, and the quiet strength he showed throughout his life.

He is survived by his children, Miguel (Marisa) Marquez, Eduardo (Heather) Marquez, and Paulina (Ignacio) Zaragoza; his grandchildren, Julie, Angel, Gabriel, Elijah, Elisa, and Luna; his parents, Miguel and Esperanza Marquez; his sisters, Margarita and Elizabeth Marquez; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hermelinda Marquez, and his brother, George Marquez.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
