Our beloved Miriam June Beswick, 97, of Warminster, formerly of Holland, left this world peacefully to join her favorite people in heaven on December 20th, 2025. She was greeted at heaven's gates by her parents, Edwin and Mary Smyrl, her brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Lillian Smyrl, her husband, Robert Beswick, her cherished daughter and best friend, Kim Snyder, and dear friends, Karl Huf and Jane O'Brien.

Miriam was born on June 6th, 1928, in Frankford, Philadelphia. She graduated from Frankford High School in 1946 and Temple University in 1950 and worked in finance for many years. She lived the majority of her adult life in Holland, raising her family, and then retired to Warminster where she lived for over 25 years. Her favorite pastimes included spending time at the beach, walking the Ventnor boardwalk with her family, playing bridge and pinochle with friends, and reading the comics ("the funnies" as she called them). Above all things, Miriam dedicated her life to her family. She adored her children, Barbara and Kim, and was very close with her grandchildren, who named her Gaga. To them, she was the Original Lady Gaga, the "OG."

Miriam fought many of life's challenges, but always conquered them with remarkable strength, grace and an unbreakable will to live for those she loved.

She leaves behind her oldest daughter, Barbara (James) Grann of Rockton IL, grandchildren: Katie Snyder of Green Lane, PA, Matthew Snyder (Allison) of Easton, PA, and Sara and Jessica Grann of Rockton, IL. As well as 3 great-grandchildren: Connor, Nolan, and Wesley.

Miriam will be remembered for her one-of-a-kind sass, sharp sense of humor, and fierce love and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Saturday December 27, 2025 9:30 AM at Wackerman Funeral Home, 8060 Verree Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19111, followed by prayer service 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Miriam and both of her daughters to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
