Muriel Doka

Muriel Doka, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend to so many. She passed peacefully at home on April 16th, surrounded by her loving family, just as she wished. She was 87.

Born on 7/7/38 in Queens, she lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. Her deep faith in God guided her throughout her life and brought her strength and peace.

She will be remembered for her kindness, grace, strong faith, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Doka, who passed away 10 years ago, as well as her brothers Robert and John Trainor.

While we will miss her deeply, we find comfort in knowing she is now in Heaven, with those she loved and at peace in the presence of the Lord. She was buried next to her husband Frank at Calverton National Cemetery on 4/20.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held Sunday May 3rd 2pm at Community Christian Fellowship at 8350 Wickham Ave, Mattituck, NY 11952. Food will be served, please join us.
