Muriel Hamme

Muriel Ann Hamme (née Bolstad), age 98, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, in Laguna Woods, California.

Muriel was born on March 10, 1927, in Ellendale, North Dakota, to John and Mildred Bolstad. She was one of eight children. Muriel was married 67 years to Wallace Hamme until his death in 2013. They are survived by their two loving sons, William and Bruce, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, with another great grandchild due in March. She loved spending time with her beloved family, traveling, cooking and baking, and playing golf with her group of women known as the "Fun Bunch". Muriel lived a long and full life that spanned nearly a century of remarkable change and progress. Her early years in North Dakota shaped her good nature and her enduring strength and resilience.

Throughout her life, Muriel carried with her the values of dedication and grace. Those who knew her will remember her for the quiet dignity with which she approached life's joys and challenges alike. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
