KRESH Blickman, Myrna
Lovely beyond all measure, kind, uplifting, loyal and beautiful in every way, Myrna Blickman Kresh, passed away peacefully on January 7th, at home, in the arms of her beloved husband and niece, surrounded by the aura of love she created. Myrna was an accomplished writer, singer, artist representative, and editor who worked primarily in photography.
A career promoting professional collaborations between creators and clients guided by integrity, art, science, imagination, and technology. Through a 30-year affiliation with ICP, Myrna has worked with iconic photographers including, Bruce Webber, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Sabastian Salgado, Jay Maisel, and Eric Meola. Her long term affiliations with Canon USA, Kodak, and Apple created projects that supported both established and emerging visual artists while innovatively branding the corporations who supported them. As Executive Director of The Advertising Photographers of America, Myrna created new platforms for the International exposure of emerging and established visual artists.
The youngest of the three daughters of Nan and Bernard Blickman. She was adored by all who knew her and charmed everyone she met. She is survived by her husband J. Yasha Kresh to whom she was blissfuly married for forty years and is also survived by her nieces and nephews (whom she adored boundlessly): Shira, Marla, Austin, Jon, Kate, Michael and Dima, her godchildren: Belinda, Henry, Olivia, her great nieces and nephews JP, Mina, Sasha, Dylan, Lauren, Ryan, Hayden, Sienna, Theo, Ella x 2, Lilia, Kaiya, Anais, August, Kiki and Amalia and lifelong friends, Bella and Robin.
