Nancy J. Barth, 77, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, in Albany, New York. Born on June 14, 1948, in Schenectady, New York, Nancy spent her early years in Altamont and graduated from Guilderland Central School. She later made her home in Clifton Park, where she lived for many years and built a life filled with family, friendship, and service.

Nancy dedicated much of her professional life to caring for others as an ophthalmology assistant in Clifton Park and Cohoes. She truly loved working with her patients and took great pride in the relationships she built through her work. Her compassion and dedication left a lasting impression on those she helped throughout her career.

Nancy shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Rudolph A. Barth. Together they raised two sons: Karl W. Barth (Lucia) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Kenneth R. Barth (Kristine) of Salisbury, NY. She was a proud grandmother to Karly Hastings, Kaelyn Barth, and Madeline Barth. Nancy is also survived by her siblings Jim Miller (Judy), Robin Scrodanus (Chuck), Patti Wiesmaier (Mike), and Pam Miller. She was predeceased by her sister Sally Sullivan. Her extended family includes many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Known for her larger-than-life personality, Nancy was deeply loved by all who knew her. She was always the first to lend a hand and offer support whenever it was needed. Her warmth and generosity touched countless lives.

Nancy found great joy in traveling—especially cruising with Rudy—and cherished vacations to Cape Cod and Mexico with longtime friends. These trips were filled with laughter and memories that she treasured dearly.

A devoted member of the Vischer Ferry Auxiliary for many years, Nancy formed close bonds within the firefighter community and among fellow auxiliary members. Her commitment to service and camaraderie reflected the values she held dear throughout her life.

Nancy's legacy is one of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
