Nancy Littlefield, age 74, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Hiram, Georgia. Born on October 28, 1951, in Texas, she lived a life defined by compassion, service, and unwavering dedication to others.
Nancy devoted her adult life to caring for children and young adults with special needs. Her professional journey as a Special Education Paraprofessional in the public school system was marked by tireless commitment and heartfelt advocacy. Beyond the classroom, Nancy extended her care into her own home, offering both short-term and long-term respite care to families in need. Her home became a sanctuary of comfort and understanding for many who required support during challenging times.
In recognition of her extraordinary contributions to the community, Nancy was honored as a 2012 American Red Cross of Central Georgia Hometown Hero—a testament to the profound impact she made through her charitable work and selfless spirit.
Nancy's legacy lives on through those who knew and loved her. She is survived by Heidi and Jeremy Owen and their daughters Sophia and Maddie of Lynnwood, Washington; Lori and Brian Whitley and their sons Hunter and Colby of Warner Robins, Georgia; and Patti and Sean Rose with their sons Devon, Amahre, and Ayden of Dallas, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her father Sam A. Meador; mother Ola D. Meador; brother Sam "Andy" Meador; and sister Janet Holmes.
