Nancy Lee Timko, 81, of Westland passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2025. She was surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born April 29, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to Edmund and Delores Bande. She graduated from Wayne Memorial High School, class of 1962. She married Jerry Timko on May 1, 1965. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and her greatest joy in life was becoming a mother and being "mamma" to her grandchildren. She loved to crochet and had a love for all things beauty, makeup and sparkles.
Nancy was known for her genuinely sweet disposition and loving nature. She will be missed dearly.
Nancy is survived by her mother Delores Bande, sons Craig (Kelly) Timko and Troy (Kimberly) Timko, daughter Maryjo (Rick) Variot, and grandchildren: Chase Timko, Austin Timko, Kara (Cameron Goode) Timko, Shaye (Joey Closser) Timko, Donovan Timko, Nicole Variot and Kaitlyn Variot
She is preceded in death by her father Edmund and husband Jerry.
