Nicholas Frank Comarell

Nicholas Frank Comarell, 81, Passed away on April 4th, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Levidi, Greece. The oldest child of Frank and Mary Comarell (Koumarellas) on March 26, 1945. He immigrated to Salt Lake City in 1951 with his parents and living sister Athina. He became a United States Citizen in 1959. He was drafted and served for the United States Army for the Vietnam War in 1967. He was Honorable Discharged from the Army. He worked and owned the Aloha Café and Club 300 in Salt Lake City. He also worked as an accountant for companies in Salt Lake and Las Vegas. Nick loved playing golf, pool, bowling, gardening, cooking, and mickey mousing cars back together. He also loved watching any type of sports- it didn't matter what type of sports. What he loved the most though, was watching his grandchildren play sports. He would drive distances just to watch them play.

He is survived by his oldest daughter Maria (Comarell) Millham; daughter, J. Melissa (Ryan) Buck; son, Josh (Cassie) Arnoldus; and sister, Athina Koumarela. Grandchildren: Brittany (Tyler) Bell; Damon Millham; Riley (Julie) Buck; Gracie and Josh Arnoldus. Great Grandchildren; Tristen, Lena, and Eden. Preceded in death by his wife of 34 yrs. Joan Habbeshaw Comarell.

Funeral Gathering Open House will be held from 12pm- 2 pm on April 18th,2026, at the home of Melissa & Ryan Buck at 2999 S Richards View Rd. Magna, UT 84044. Please join us to share stories, memories, and being with loved ones.
