Send Flowers Plant A Tree
Nick was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico on August 1, 1982. He was a rainbow child & blessing from day one.

He was a friend to everyone he met & had a kind & generous spirit. He was not only one of the most non-judgemental & altruistic people one could ever hope to encounter, but he had a heart as big as his stature. He often compared himself to "Ferdinand the bull"... due to his noticeable size & his gentle nature. He would give to others, even when he himself was lacking. He was a generous soul with a rather innocent view of life. He had a most inquisitive spirit & was very artistic, musical & preferred a comedic sense of engagement most times. He also had a deeply emotional & philosophical side & a hunger for knowlege & discussion. He showed up for life & never lost his hopeful, optimistic & almost childlike view of life - although he struggled daily for decades with mental illness, which ultimately lead to his alcohol use & addiction, which eventually lead to his passing.

He lived a life of kindness & generosity, in spite of his struggles. His inner spirit of strength & character - never allowed him to give up the fight. His intestinal fortitude gave him the courage & ability to withstand the emotional & physical pain he carried as his disease of addiction & resulting health issues progressed. His strength is not only a testament to others, but should be used as a foreshadowing, that even the best of us can falter in the wake of addiction...it is a most formidable enemy & one that can never be overlooked.

We're thankful that Nick passed peacefully & without pain or the knowledge that his time to leave this world had come. He passed In his sleep on June 21, 2022, just 6 weeks shy of 39 years of age.

He will be sorrowfully missed by his mom Lorie, his step-dad Al - who raised him, his brother Eric & his sister Arianna...along with his extended family who loved him as well. There is not a day that goes by, that our lives are not forever altered... without his contagious laughter, his smile & the twinkle in his eyes. We will see him again one day, but until then - we will treasure all of the beautiful moments & even the struggles we shared with him, because we treasured every part of who he was & will continue to honor & love him forever more.
