Nicole Diane Siemiaszko (Germony), 83, passed away peacefully, at her home in Indian Land, SC on December 14, 2025 after living with Vascular Dementia for several years. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and her memory will live on.

Nicole is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Siemiaszko, her daughter Kara Turner (James Turner), her two grandsons Reilly Turner and Jackson Turner, her brother Geoff Germony (Kate Germony) and sister Lauren Ehret (Rene Ehret). She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Betty Germony, and her brother, Donald Germony.

Nicole was born in Buffalo, New York on November 23, 1942. The eldest of four, Nicole graduated with a degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland, where she met her husband. Nicole was passionate in all that she did, including co-owning (with her best friend, Ladonna Gritzmacher) the Red Balloon, a thriving children's clothing store in Essex, CT and having a long career at Talbots.

Nicole had exquisite taste, and will be fondly remembered as an impeccably dressed lady. A life-long lover of animals, Nicole rescued and homed numerous cats and dogs. After retiring, Nicole devoted her time serving as a volunteer with pet rescues and food pantries. She enjoyed gardening and always had one of the prettiest gardens on the block. A breast cancer survivor, Nicole was a fighter and loyal friend, who was generous and had a kind heart. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandsons, who affectionately called her Mimi.

A celebration of Nicole's life will be held at her family home at 27082 Sanderling Court in Indian Land, SC on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 12-4pm. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Nicole's name to Via Health Partners (Hospice & Palliative Care), who provided Nicole with amazing care https://www.viagiving.org/one-time-giving.
