Noel Lee Eck

Noel Eck passed away after a long illness at 58 years old on February 11, 2026. Noel had a successful lifelong career in the semi-truck sales industry, most recently with Peterson Trucking and Palmer Leasing. Noel lived the majority of his life in Indiana and Kentucky and was an avid Indy car racing fan, attending over 25 runs of the Indy 500. Noel was preceded in death by his father Jerry, and his brother Jerry. Noel is survived by his wife Debbie of "going on" 33 years, daughter Mackenzie, and son Brady. He adored his two children and was immensely proud of them. Noel is also survived by his mother Mary Ann, siblings Mike (Candy), Mark (Julie), Kim (Brian), Steve (Karen), and Tootch (Lora). He had many nieces and nephews. He was a friend and mentor to many in the trucking industry and in the community of Goshen, KY. He recently became a regular home attendee of the Eastside Christian Church of Jeffersonville, IN where he was baptized shortly before his passing. A Celebration of Life for all friends in Louisville and Southern Indiana will be held on April 11th from 12 pm - 5 pm at Stella's Venue at 1348 River Road in Louisville, KY. Another Celebration will be held in or around Auburn, IN at still a later date TBD. Noel was able to recognize hardship in the eyes of others who were struggling financially and discreetly paid for their groceries from time to time. Instead of sending flowers, Noel would be grateful if, when you recognize the same thing someday, you consider respectfully paying for their groceries in his memory.
