Norma Ellertson

Norma June Ellertson (formerly Morwood), age 94, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in San Pedro, California.

Born on October 30, 1931, in North Dakota, Norma lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and community. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth touched the lives of many.

Norma found spiritual fulfillment through her lifelong connection to St. Timothy Lutheran Church, where she worshipped faithfully. Her spirituality was a guiding light throughout her life and brought her great comfort and joy. She especially cherished attending services and being part of the church community by singing in the choir.

A talented baker, Norma delighted in sharing her creations with those around her. Whether it was a batch of cookies or a lovingly prepared pie, her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of home-baked treats—a reflection of the care and love she poured into everything she did.

Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband Warren; sons Jon and Todd; brother Llyod, and her sister Hope. She is survived by her son Mark, who carries forward her legacy.
