Norma Jean Huston, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on September 12, 1933, in Springfield, Illinois, where her journey through life began.
Norma Jean was known for her gentle spirit and her love of life's simple joys. She found peace in reading, comfort in sewing, and happiness in the company of family. Her creativity, warmth, and kindness touched all who knew her.
Above all, Norma Jean loved Jesus and lived her faith through compassion, patience, and grace.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Huston; her daughter, Belinda Deeter; her son-in-law, Tom Deeter; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Lyons; her mother, Vitura Lyons; her sister, Wanda Fenton; her son, Ken McGuire; and her daughter, Kathy Sneed.
She has gone home to rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and grace — and a reminder to all who knew her to take life one day at a time.
