Norma Jean (Dehart) Tiller, 83, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on March 24, 2026. Originally from Allendale, Missouri, Norma never lost her Midwest directness—or her sense of humor.
She shared 60 years of marriage with the love of her life, Tom Tiller, with whom she traveled the world, including living in Saudi Arabia during Tom’s years with TWA Airlines, forging lifelong friendships and memories that spanned continents. Whether navigating a foreign city or wrangling the kids for an adventure, Norma did it her way: confidently, independently, and without much fuss.
After retirement, Norma and Tom settled in the Phoenix area and perfected their seasonal rhythm—winters in Arizona and summers in Colorado, where camper life meant campfires, lakes, pool halls, and cherished friendships that gathered faithfully for 5 p.m. happy hours.
Norma is survived by her daughter Tammy Faeth (AZ), son Shawn Tiller (VA), grandchildren Cody, Nick, Langston, Emerson, and Maya, and great grandson Oliver. She was also devoted to her dog, Sandy, who never left her side. Norma will be remembered for her honesty, her loyalty, and her love of a good time with good people.
