In loving memory of Norma Jean Ward, a beacon of faith, love, and grace whose gentle spirit and radiant smile brightened every life she touched. Surrounded by her devoted family, she peacefully entered heaven on January 6, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1937, daughter of James and Ruth (Palmer) Pirrie.
Norma lived a life wholly dedicated to serving God and her family. She was a woman of unwavering faith—a true prayer warrior—who found her greatest joy and peace in the promises of Christ.
Norma Jean Ward was the devoted wife of her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Ward, for 71 years. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, steadfast love, and the constant presence of God. She was the heart of her family—a constant source of encouragement, wisdom, and support. As a mother, her lessons of kindness, perseverance, and faith are her enduring legacy. As a grandmother, she delighted in every milestone and activity of her grandchildren; the time spent with “Grandma” will be treasured forever.
An active member of several churches throughout her life, Norma’s compassionate nature and willingness to serve others shone brightly. Her kindness was a language understood by all and a reflection of the divine love she carried within her.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Ward; her four loving sons; Doug (Teri), Terry (Carol), Larry (Karen), and Bill (Barb); her nine adoring grandchildren; Jason (Beata), Julie (Pete), Jennie, Amanda, Jake (Shannon), AJ (Stephanie), Josh (Athena), Billy, and Jeremy; and ten great-grandchildren; Maria, Lorena, Ava, Joshlynn, Alana, Lucy, Lincoln, PJ, Charlotte, and Micah, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who loved her deeply.
Her light continues to shine through the countless lives she touched, and her love will live in our hearts forever.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.”
