Norman David Berman of Hollywood, Florida passed away on August 18, 2023. Born in The Bronx, New York on August 15, 1947, he was the son of the late William and Sylvia Berman. Norman later moved with his family to Florida where he attended the University of Miami, and met his wife, Ilene.
Norman was a long-time sports enthusiast who loved to play basketball and pool. He was a devoted fan of the Miami Heat and Florida Marlins. Norman was known as a true lover of animals and shared many rescue dogs with his family over the years. He had recently lost his 17-year-old sweet and beloved dog Sugar. Norman owned a health food store in the 1970's. He ate a healthy food regimen his entire life and helped encourage others to do the same.
Norman was a true family man who was a loving husband to Ilene, and a wonderful father to daughter Allison and son Bryan. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife Ilene and his 2 children, daughter Allison, son Bryan, sister Susan Kashick (Bruce), nieces April Prince (Derek), and Heather Kashick, nephew Alan Leipzig (Rebecca) and grandnieces Madison Prince and Maia Leipzig, as well as grandnephews Tyler Prince and Jonathan Leipzig. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Susan Leipzig (Jerry) and nephew Jeffrey Leipzig.
He is remembered and loved by all who knew him and will forever be in their memories and hearts.
