Olegario C. Jimenez

Olegario C. Jimenez, a devoted husband, proud father of four daughters, and loving grandfather to six grandchildren, died at the age of 68 on November 16, 2025.

He was born in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico to Olegario & Irene Jimenez, and was mostly known as "Guero" or "Ole" by family, friends, and coworkers. He enjoyed his life long career as a carpenter and handyman. When someone would mention needing something fixed, he would be the first to volunteer to fix it or reach out to someone that knew how.

Olegario took pride in being someone people trusted and admired. He always stepped up to the occasion and filled the role of a Father, Brother, Grandpa, Tio, Nino, Compadre, and Friend. He will be dearly missed for his kind heart, friendly personality, funny jokes, and life lessons he imparted on all he met and loved. Among them was to enjoy life and live to the fullest - "Don't worry about it, don't stress over it." He would say.

Olegario never liked to see someone he loved sad or hurt, he would say "stop crying because you're making my heart hurt." He wanted to be remembered in life and not in death. He wished to be cremated, put to rest, and remembered for all the good times.

Olegario was preceded in death by his mother, father, and two sisters, Magdalena Barajas and Margarita Silva. He is survived by wife - Connie, daughters - Sandra, Christina, Angelica, Delia, and grandchildren - David, Cynthia, Daniel, Mia, Phoebe, Terra, great grandson - Jose Angel, and siblings - Jesus, Guadalupe, Martha, Esther, Rosalinda, Beatriz, Miguel.

* *Upon receipt of olegario's ashes, his family will have a mass in January 2026 and then a celebration of life in March 2026.

Olegario C. Jiménez, un esposo devoto, padre orgulloso de cuatro hijas y amoroso abuelo de seis nietos, murió a la edad de 68 años el 16 de noviembre de 2025.

Nació en Cuidad Juárez, México, de Olegario e Irene Jiménez, y fue conocido como "Guero" o "Ole" por familiares, amigos y compañeros de trabajo. Disfrutó de su carrera como carpintero. Cuando alguien mencionaba que necesitaba arreglar algo, era el primero en ofrecerse como voluntario para arreglarlo o comunicarse con alguien que supiera cómo hacerlo.

Olegario se enorgullecía de ser alguien en quien la gente confiaba y admiraba. Siempre estaba disponible para qualquiere ocasión y desempeñaba el papel de padre, hermano, abuelo, tío, nino, compadre y amigo. Se le va entrañara su buen corazón, su personalidad amable, sus chistes divertidos y sus lecciones de vida que impartió sobre todo lo que conoció y amó. Entre ellos era disfrutar de la vida y vivirla al máximo - Él diría, "No te preocupes por eso," o "no te estreses por eso."

A Olegario nunca le gustó ver a alguien a quien amaba triste o herido, decía "deja de llorar porque estás haciendo doler mi corazón". Quería ser recordado en la vida y no en la muerte. Deseaba ser incinerado, puesto a descansar y recordado por todos los buenos momentos.

Olegario fue precedido en la muerte por su madre, su padre y sus dos hermanas, Magdalena Barajas y Margarita Silva. Le sobreviven su esposa - Connie, hijas - Sandra, Christina, Angélica, Delia, nietos - David, Cynthia, Daniel, Mia, Phoebe, Terra, bisnieto - José Ángel, y hermanos - Jesús, Guadalupe, Martha, Esther, Rosalinda, Beatriz, Miguel.
