Oleksii "Alex" Krasnov, age 46, of Fort Lee, and formerly of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on July 29th, 2025.
Oleksii was born on March 10th, 1979 in Odesa, Ukraine. The only son to his parents, he graduated school with honor in the same city. He earned his Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Odesa Mechnikov National University. He worked as a Senior Informatica/ Oracle Developer for such companies as Luxoft, Exigen Services, Ciklum in Ukraine, as Associate Director for JPMorgan Chase, UBS, and as Senior Vice President, Software Developer for BNY in the United States.
Oleksii was a highly intelligent, bright, kind, compassionate, supportive and generous person. He will also be remembered as a skillful, reliable and well respected colleague.
Oleksii was passionate about sports and loved to exercise at the gym. He enjoyed being outdoors, exploring new places, spending time and sharing good laughs with his family and friends.
He left behind his son Tymofii, wife Olena, and his dear friends. Oleksii touched many lives with warmth and kindness, cherished memories of him will forever live in our hearts.
A funeral service for Oleksii was held in his hometown Odesa, Ukraine, where family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to Oleksii.
He will be deeply and always missed, his memory will forever thrive within each of us who had the privilege to know and love him. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace.
