Paige Read McDougald, aged 62, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2026, in Woodstock, Georgia, after a courageous eight-year battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's. Born on September 17, 1963, Paige was a beacon of kindness and love, deeply dedicated to her family and friends.
Paige graduated from Roswell High School and, after spending many years at home as a devoted mother, she worked at the Roswell Surgery Center, where she was cherished by her colleagues and those she served. She was strong in her faith and an active member of both Mountain View United Methodist and Hickory Flat United Methodist churches.
She is survived by her husband, Mark McDougald; children, Lauren Batts (Elliott), Macey Hall (Matt), and Collin McDougald (Taylor); grandchildren, Amelia Batts, Eli Batts, Lewis Hall, and Lily Hall; her mother, Judy Fox; and siblings, Abby Gessner, Katy Read, Maggie Agan, Robert D. Read, and Rebecca Carson. Paige was preceded in death by her father, Don Read.
Paige's hobbies included playing tennis, planning family gatherings, taking beach vacations, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. Her life was a testament to her joyful spirit, even in challenging times.
A celebration of life service will be held on May 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Mountain View United Methodist Church, located at 2300 Jamerson Rd, Marietta, GA 30066. Paige's life and legacy will be celebrated by all who knew her as the loving person she was.
