Pamela Ann Gelles (née Duckworth) passed away on December 25, 2024, in Puyallup, Washington. September 25, 1949, she was born in Springfield Missouri. Her family moved to Saratoga CA in 1952. Then they moved to San Jose, CA. A radiant and unforgettable presence, she left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.

Pam built a diverse career in the medical field, working in various medical offices before founding her own medical billing business in Los Angeles, California. She had education in dental and medical assisting and contracting. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication shone through in all she pursued.

Beyond her professional achievements, Pam embraced life with passion and creativity. She found joy in movement—playing tennis, walking, sailing, riding motorcycles and boating—and had an abiding love for the outdoors. Her artistic spirit flourished through her collection of pottery, sculpture, and fashion. Music was another deep love of hers; she was both a drummer and a dancer. With impeccable style and grace, she carried herself with elegance.

Above all else, Pam cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with people and formed meaningful bonds. Her warmth, sharp humor, and unwavering strength defined her character—a force of nature whose presence was truly unforgettable.

She is survived by her daughter Annie and son-in-law Michael, as well as her two beloved granddaughters. She also leaves behind her stepchildren Jeff, Beth, and Judy, their spouses and children; her sister Diantha; her brother Patrick; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry forward her memory.

Her husband David passed away just one month after her own passing; now they are reunited, sailing together forever. They had a wonderful life together living in Los Angeles for over 40 years and then moving to Puyallup WA, a Seattle suburb, to be close to Annie and her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, John Gordon and Virginia, as well as her brothers Mike and John.

May the memories of Pam's vibrant spirit bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
