Pamela Ann Kerr stepped from this world into the loving embrace of the Lord Jesus Christ in the eternal kingdom of Heaven to begin her everlasting life.
Ms Kerr was a resident of Brandon,MS.
Born June 3rd 1960 in Jackson,MS, to Mrs Katie Louann Kerr and Mr William Henry Kerr.
She was raised in Terry,Ms and helped raise her younger brothers and baby sister.
She graduated Terry high school and went on to pursue many jobs and trades throughout the years. She worked at SoS truckstop where she met her lifelong Best Friend Linda Allred, she was blessed to become a Mother in 1986 to one Child. She met a host of friends that became family during her tenure at St Dominic Hospital as a 3 south ward clerk in the early 90s. Penny,Trish,Emma Stephens,Roberta Friend, and Dorothea (Dot) Jones to name a few. In the late 90s, she worked at Day's Inn Clinton Ms where she formed friendships With Jay Patel and Ms Alice. She was known for her charismatic personality and honest hardworking character that made people naturally drawn to her. From places like, Pump&Save at Jitney Jungle #9 where her former Fiance was member of management Robert Ray Brown, To her time at Uncle Bob's Self Storage as Manager working with the late Mary Haines, whom Pamela was good friends with prior to Mary's life being cut short in a tragic accident, to her time at LoveVets Ministries as Fundraising Coordinator where she made an impression and impact helping many veterans with her Especial Friend Clarence Douglas. Her most important role in life and her greatest joy was her role as a grandmother. She was known as MawMaw to four precious children that love her dearly, as much as she loved them.
She fought a long courageous battle after surviving a double heart attack in 2021. In 2025, she was diagnosed with end stage Metastatic Lung Cancer, where she chose to remain at home with her Daughter and grandbabies till the very end. She was blessed almost a year before she left this earth holding her Daughter's hand.
She is Preceded in Death by her Grandmother Odell Farmer, Mother Katie Louann Kerr, her Father William Henry Kerr, Brothers: L.T. Smith, William Henry Kerr Jr, Lewis Edwin Puckett, David Wilson Kerr, and Sherman David Holmes.
She is Survived by her Daughter
April Marlena Kerr and Daughter-in-law Katherine Marie Taylor of Brandon,MS.
Grandchildren: Robert Jacob Lynn Kerr (Pretty Boy), Pilar Esmé Rosita Andrade (China Doll), Antonio Andrade-Hernandez Jr (Little Man June Bug), and her most precious Estella Teresita Amor Andrade (SUNSHINE). One remaining sister, Wonder Debbie Rutledge of Florence,MS, sister-in-laws Betty J Golden of Flora, MS, Brenda Kerr of Ripley,MS and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved tremendously.
She will be profoundly missed by many but, none more than her Daughter, whom took the last years to repair and rebuild a bond that can't ever be broken, not even in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sweet Rest Church 215 Old Whitfield Rd Pearl,Ms April 16th 2pm-4pm
