Pamela Jean Wilbur

Pamela Wilbur passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 65 at her home in Auburn, CA. Born on February 17, 1961, Pamela was a cherished figure in her family, revered for her loving, giving, strong, and kind nature. While she lived her life doing things on her own terms, she was generous to those she encountered.
Pamela is survived by a loving family, including her daughters Sarah Wilbur and Jennifer Mathis (married to Glenn Mathis), her son Justin Wilbur (married to Melissa Wilbur), and three grandsons Kenneth, Theodore, and James. She also leaves behind her siblings Dan Baxter, Suzy Ramirez, Marguerite Baxter, and Doug Baxter. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Betty Baxter.
Throughout her life, Pamela found joy in hobbies such as gardening, rock collecting, and spending cherished moments with her family. These activities were a testament to her love for nature and the simple pleasures of life.
A private family memorial will be held in the fall to honor Pamela's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Stand Up Placer, reflecting Pamela's spirit of giving and support for her community.
