Parrish C. Broadnax was born on December 22, 1972, in Chicago, IL. He was raised in Gary, IN. Parrish graduated from Hoarce Mann High School Class of 1992. Parrish was a devoted father to his children. In his free time, Parrish loved to cook, cut hair, and draw. He never failed to make someone smile with his charm and humor. Parrish passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026. Parrish is preceded in death by grandparents Grover and Dorothy Dent, Elfrida Wilson, Anniel and Julius A. Harris, wife Devora Broadnax, and fathers Wallace Broadnax Sr. and Willie D. Bingham. He leaves to cherish his memories wife Jovon Broadnax, mothers Dorothy Broadnax Bingham and Crystal Johnson, father Arthur Harris, grandfather Thurman Johnson, uncles Elmer and Maurice Broadnax, aunt Esther Broadnax, children Parish II, Jada, Knowledge, and Legend Broadnax, stepchildren Tommie, Tiphani, Emori, Ariyana, and Aliyah, siblings Wallace (Dai) Broadnax II, Isabel Barnes, Jacquetta (Willie) Price, Ebonie (Collin) Sanders, Darrien (Brittany) Johnson, Suretha Johnson, Timothy King, Tiffany Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, Shawntez Johnson, Jacqueline Johnson, Tymika (Anthony) Rush, Tashia Irby, Mia Harris, Devontaye Daniels, Niya Harris, and a host of other family and friends. Visitation Friday, February 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Guy & Allen Funeral Chapel 2959 W. 11th Ave. Gary, IN 46404.
