In Loving Memory of Helena Patricia Hart
March 12, 1933 – November 30, 2025
At the age of 92, Helena Patricia Hart, “Pat” went softly into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by love. Born and raised in England during the hardships of World War II, she was the eldest of three children and is survived by her siblings, Michael and Angela. Her early years shaped her resilience, quick humor, and feisty spirit. She loved telling stories from her childhood, often breaking into songs like “The Yanks Are Coming." Her admiration for Winston Churchill was lifelong and she would frequently remind herself and others to “Keep on Buggering On.”
In her 20’s, Pat immigrated to Canada and established roots in the beauty industry as a cosmetic consultant, make up artist and even did some modeling before moving to America. A proud patriot, she dearly loved the United States and was overjoyed to become an American citizen.
In 1971, Pat married her beloved husband, Richard. They shared 50 years of marriage together and are now reunited once again. Pat is survived by her daughter, Julie Green (Scott); son, Ken Hart (Ronnie); grandchildren, Jennifer Raspagni, Amanda Green, Brittanie, Brandon, Brody, and Brooke Hart; and great-grandson, Milo Raspagni who was the joy of her last years.
Pat’s life was anchored in her Christian faith. A devoted prayer warrior, she prayed faithfully for her family and others, never hesitating to share her faith in Jesus with anyone and everyone she met. A true extrovert, she loved to dance, laugh, tell stories, and welcome people in to her home —always ready with a cup of tea and a place at her table. She valued connection and made lasting friendships wherever she went. With an eye for beauty, Pat was very artistic and loved to paint and garden and took delight in making every space lovely.
Pat will be deeply missed. Her legacy of faith, strength, and love will live on through all who had the honor of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to
Alzheimer's Association or Samaritan's Purse.
A memorial service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held on January 23, 2026 in Lake Forest, CA at Saddleback Church (11:30 am). Please wear fun colors to celebrate Pat's colorful life and memory.
