Patricia Lou Bishop (née Kott), age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 26, 2026, in Shelby Township, Michigan.

Born on February 20, 1950, in Manistee, Michigan, Patricia was a proud Michigander throughout her life. Beloved Wife of Ralph Bishop for 54 Years.

Years ago, she worked as a secretary for the Sterling Heights Police Department, where she contributed her time and talents to supporting the department's daily operations.

Patricia was a devoted wife to Ralph and a loving mother to her children: Michael and his wife Kate, and Ann Rowlett and her husband Tracy. She cherished her role as "Mema" to her grandsons—Zander, Jackson, William, and Noah— and her additional honeybee Abby Jane, all who brought immense joy to her life.

Another vital part of Patricia's story, is her very close knit connection with the Hagadone family. After losing her parents at a young age, Patricia moved from Manistee, MI to Sterling Heights, MI to live with her sister, Elaine and husband Dean's family. Elaine and Dean offered a loving home and family to welcome "Patty". From there, Patty was more of a sister to Ron, Mark, Jan, Kelly and Dennis. Over the years, Aunt Patty was also upgraded to "Mema" to Reed and Delainey, both a very special part of her life.

She is also remembered with love by her sister Joyce Radke, husband Robert; brother Richard Kott, wife Sally; Kelly Williams (Hagadone), husband Todd; Reed Williams and Delainey Williams; Ron Hagadone, wife Sharine; and nieces Jean Radke, Julie Fehrenbach, husband Ray and Lynn Radke .

Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers Jerry Kott, Tom Kott, and James Kott; her sister Elaine Hagadone and brother-in-law Dean Hagadone; as well as Mark Hagadone, Dennis Hagadone, Janice Hagadone and niece Evelyn Hagadone.

Known for her warmth in the kitchen as much as in life, Patricia found great joy in cooking and baking for those she loved. Her specialty cookies and desserts were family favorites at every gathering. Whether preparing a Holiday feast or a simple Sunday dinner, she poured love into every dish. Time spent around the table with family was among her greatest joys.

To honor Patricia's request, a formal funeral service is not scheduled. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's name to the American Cancer Society - donate.cancer.org

God saw you getting tired, when a
cure was not to be. So he wrapped his
arms around you and he whispered
"come to me" You didn't deserve what
you went through, so he gave you
needed rest. God's garden must be
beautiful, he only takes the best.

Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is at peace, may her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
