Patricia Lee Duvall

Patricia Lee Duvall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 15, 2025, surrounded by family and love. She was 68 years old.

Born on April 9th, 1957, in Olney, Maryland, to Barbara Hawkins and the late Leland Hawkins, and granddaughter of the late Blanche and Noah Bowman, Pat lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, and generosity. She married Ned Duvall, the love of her life, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a home where faith, family, and kindness were at the heart of everything.

As a devoted mother, Pat raised her two children, Nicholas and Shannon, with unwavering love and encouragement. Her greatest joy came from watching her family grow, especially the precious moments spent with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her grammy.

Pat had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Whether hosting family dinners, lending a listening ear, or sharing her warm smile, she touched countless lives with her gentle strength and selflessness. Her laugh could light up a room, and her wisdom will continue to guide all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ned; her children, Shannon, Nicholas and Allison; her grandchildren, Sophia and Ivy; her mother, Barbara Hawkins; and her siblings, David, Sandy (Matt), Sherry (Rick), and Terry (John). She will be deeply missed by her nieces, Mandy (Chris), Jessica, and Sydney; her nephew, Brian; her great nephew, Wyatt; extended family, and many dear friends.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Saturday, December 20 th , 2025, at the Frederick Moose Lodge, 828 E Patrick St, Frederick, MD 21701, with visitation beginning at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Frederick Humane Society in her memory and for her great love of animals.
