Patricia Flanagan Eger

Patricia Flanagan Eger, 81 of Weymouth, Ma and The Villages, FL passed away peacefully on February 24th after a short illness.
Pat was born in Boston, Ma on 12/24/1944 to Margaret and Joseph Flanagan who preceded her in death. She graduated from Weymouth High School in 1962 and went to work for the New England Telephone Company. After her tenure at the phone company, Pat went to work for Dentistry for Children, which she loved working with children and had many friends as co-workers. She retired after working for 25 years with Dentistry. After retirement Pat moved to The Villages, Fl where she played golf and participated in many activities with new friends. She moved back to Weymouth in 2021 to be close to her family and friends.
Pat was lovingly married to Lawrence (Larry) Eger for 46 wonderful years who preceded her in death. They had three children, Brian Eger (Shelly), Donna Eger Prioli (Scott) and Kevin Eger (Carolyn) and 9 grandchildren. Pat and Larry were very involved with Pop Warner of Weymouth, both with football and Cheerleading. One of Pat's favorite things to do was to play bingo on a weekly basis as well as play card games with friends. She also loved to go to the casino where she was the master of nickel and penny machines.
She is survived by her children and her siblings: Lorraine Flanagan Mitchell (Dick) of Florida, Richard Flanagan (Kathy) of New Hampshire and Stephen Flanagan (Debbie), of Weymouth and her sister-in-law Heidi Flanagan of Whitman. Both Joseph (Sandy) Flanagan and Edward Flanagan preceded her in death.
Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Pat was extremely outgoing and very social, which was evident by the large number of friends she kept in touch with daily. She always had a smile on her face and was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in North Weymouth Ma. On April 11, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Interment will immediately follow at North Weymouth Cemetery.
