Patricia Johnson, beloved mother, sister and friend passed away on September 13, 2025. She was born in Sacramento, California and spent her life nurturing those around her with unwavering love and dedication. Patricia's journey on this earth spanned 80 years, during which she made indelible marks in the lives of all who knew her.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Josephine Moriarty, who instilled in her the values of compassion and hard work that she carried through her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her two daughters, Meghan and Sara, and her grandson, Lucas. Patricia is also survived by her sister, Denise Glass (George) and brother, Edward (Cheryl), who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Patricia's educational journey led her to attend Providence School of Nursing where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and honed her skills and developed a deep passion for carring for others. She became a registered nurse and was the manager of the Kaiser pediatric clinic in Hayward, California. In her roll, Patricia touched countless lives providing care and compassion to children and their families. Her dedication to her profession was matched only by her love for those she served.
Outside of her professional life, Patricia had a myriad of hobbies and interests. She found joy in cooking, often delighting family and friends with her culinary creations. Cooking was not just a task for her. It was a way for her to express her love and bring people together.
A funeral service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on October 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Pascal Divine Mercy Church in Oakland, California. Friends and family are invited to share in this tribute to Patricia, whose spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she cherished. Patricia will be inurned at St Mary's Cemetery in Sacramento, California on October 30th, 2025.
