Patricia Dawn "Patty" Maniscalco (née Shattuck), 67, passed away on January 22, 2026, in Scarborough, Maine. Born on April 8, 1958, in Newburyport, Massachusetts, Patty lived a life defined by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering love for those around her.

To know Patty was to know true kindness. She carried within her a patient spirit and a heart that knew no borders. Her legacy is one of open arms and open doors both literally and figuratively. Famous among friends and family for her "open door policy," Patty's home was a sanctuary where no one remained a stranger for long. Whether you needed a cup of coffee, a listening ear, or simply a place to feel at home, she offered it freely and without hesitation. Every person who crossed her threshold was treated as one of her own.

Patty's life was rarely quiet—her world moved to music. A lifelong lover of song and dance, she could often be found bursting into tune or twirling through the kitchen with spontaneous joy. Her rhythm was infectious; she invited everyone around her to join in the celebration of life's simple pleasures. Patty leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her memory with tenderness: her son Andrew Maniscalco III; daughters Amelia Merrill, Audra Lanza, and Melissa Bowman; grandchildren Mallory Cripps, Briana McFadden, Jordan Cripps, Natalie Cate, and Jude Castillo; brother William "Willy Baby" Shattuck; and sister June "June Bug" Bourque.

Though she has departed this world, Patty's presence remains deeply felt—in every warm breeze that stirs windchimes into song and in every moment when laughter fills a room unexpectedly.
