Patricia Marie Pace, 95 of Cheshire, Connecticut passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026.
Pat was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was the beloved daughter of Armand Frances Pettit and Edna Collins Pettit. She is pre-deceased by her loving sisters, Connie Hull and Mary Jane Torsiello. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Blum, son-in-law Jeffrey Blum, grandson Reuben Blum, his wife Gianna Walton and grandson Julian Blum. Patricia had many nieces and nephews each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Patricia graduated from Bassick High School, Bridgeport and St. Vincent's School of Nursing. Her nursing career spanned more than 50 years and she served the Department of Correction for over 20 years, where she was a respected nurse and nursing administrator known for her compassion and leadership.
Pat lived a life of Roman Catholic faith and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Becket Church in Cheshire, Connecticut. A devoted lover of animals, Patricia raised horses, cats and dogs and greatly enjoyed her time volunteering with dear friends for Friends of Cheshire Feral Cats. She was an avid gardener and a passionate and talented cook who took great pleasure in nurturing others through food and hospitality.
Patricia lived a life of kindness, faith, hard work and love of family. A Roman Catholic Mass for Patricia will be celebrated on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Saint Theresa's Church Trumbull, Connecticut.
