Patricia Poulakos

Patricia Ann "Pattie" Poulakos (née Kimball), born on December 13, 1966, in Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on May 26, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was 58 years old.

Pattie was a proud graduate of Huntington East High School and carried the values of her upbringing throughout her life. Her roots in West Virginia remained close to her heart even as she built a life filled with love and family far from home.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Poulakos; two daughters, Heather Smith-Gnadt (Bryan) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Rebekah Poulakos of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and three sons: Jeff Smith (Jolene) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Zackary Poulakos of Franklin, Wisconsin; and Caidenn Poulakos of Franklin, Wisconsin. Pattie found immense joy in being a grandmother to her beloved grandsons Atlas and Torsten. Time spent with them brought her deep happiness and pride.

Pattie also leaves behind her siblings: three sisters—Tinka Kimball-Felix (Randy) of Brookwood, Alabama; Jennifer Kimball-OConnell of Barboursville, West Virginia; and Kimberly Kimball-Cremeans (Harley) of Barboursville, West Virginia—and one brother, Rocky Kimball (Anita) of Huntington, West Virginia. Her family ties were strong and enduring.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carol Kimball of Huntington, West Virginia; her paternal grandmother Gertrude Kimball; and maternal grandparents Wilbur and Pauline Scarberry of Barboursville, West Virginia.

Pattie had a deep appreciation for nature. She found peace in tending to her garden and took great pride in maintaining a bird sanctuary that brought beauty and serenity into her daily life. Her love for the outdoors reflected the nurturing spirit she shared with those around her.

Her memory will live on through the lives she touched—with warmth that will be remembered by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her. A Memorial Gathering will be held on December 27, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM at VictoryPlace Apts community Room 100 Victory Place Dr. Barboursville WV Family and friends are welcome to come pay their condolences. We will also have a social gathering to enjoy refreshments.
