Patricia Ann Sansone Byram passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on July 20, 1943 in Central New York of the late Thomas Sansone and Margaret Roth Ameduri.
Patricia graduated from Whitesboro High School and later moved to Virginia. She worked for many years at General Dynamics Information Technology and retired in 2019 after a dedicated career.
Patricia was loved by all who knew her. She had a warm, generous spirit and was known for her thoughtful nature and steady presence. She worked hard throughout her life and took great pride in her independence, strength, and ability to care for herself and others.
In her free time, Patricia enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought her joy—she was an avid reader, loved working on puzzles, and cherished spending time with friends, neighbors, and family. She also had a well-known sweet tooth with a special love for chocolate, as well as a good plate of spaghetti and meatballs. Her sense of humor and love of conversation made time with her truly special.
Patricia was predeceased by her brother Michael Sanson; stepbrothers Guy “Mick” Sansone and Steve Sansone, niece Erica Campione-Galbo, her paternal grandparents Benjamin and Jane Sansone; and her beloved Aunt and Uncle, Ned and Theresa Montalbano.
She is survived by her siblings Kathleen Sansone, Barbara Ameduri, and David Ameduri (Patti); her cousin Diane (Montalbano) Roache; her niece Jamie Campione; and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
She will be remembered for her generosity, her kindness, and the quiet strength that defined her life. Patricia’s presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be laid to rest with her Family in St. Helena’s Cemetery in Oneida, NY this summer.
