Patricia "Topdown" Thomas
Patricia Lee Thomas, 84, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at Hospice of Hamilton with her family by her side.
Born April 30, 1941, in Cincinnati to Marjorie Thomas (née Rainey) and Michael Collins, she was lovingly raised by her mother and stepfather, John "Jack" Thomas.
A proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Pat was a lifelong Bearcats fan and cheered passionately for her beloved Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.
Known affectionately as "Topdown"—a nickname given by her grandchildren because she always drove a convertible—Pat embodied a spirited, fun-loving nature that brightened every room.
For 41 years, Pat was a devoted friend of Bill W., dedicating herself to supporting others on their journey. She was always just a phone call away, offering compassion, encouragement, and unwavering friendship.
Her generosity and love of gift-giving were legendary, leaving lasting impressions on all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her children Ronald Joseph, Michael Troehler, Kate Jonson (Troehler), Anne Seibert (Troehler), and Marjorie Kenrich (Troehler), along with cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Please join us in celebrating Pat's remarkable life at our Topdown Open House on Sunday, November 23, from 2-5 p.m. at Marjie's house (contact Pat's cell or a daughter for directions). We look forward to an informal sports themed afternoon sharing memories and honoring her legacy. In lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness for someone this week in her honor.
