Patricia "Trish" Corcoran Tucker, 73, of Branford, CT, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, surrounded by her children and grandchildren after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Her illness came quickly, but she met it with quiet, unwavering strength and the gentle humor that carried her throughout her life. Even in her hardest moments, she offered comfort to others and reminded us of what truly mattered. Above all, she was devoted to her family, their well-being and happiness were always her greatest priority. She will be remembered for the love, resilience, and light she shared with all who knew her.
Trish spent her final days in comfort and peace, supported by hospice and held close by the people she cherished most. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are deeply grateful for the time we had by her side,
She is survived by her three children, Christine Elder (David), Kimberly Cobden (Joel), and T.J. Tucker (Samantha); her four beloved grandchildren, Ariel, Zachary, Evan, and Jax; and her husband, Terry Tucker.
Trish was predeceased by her mother and step-father, Kathryn and Edward "Geggie" Granfield; her father, Lawrence Corcoran; her brothers, Lawrence "Bruce" Corcoran and Edward "Teddy" Corcoran; and her sister, Catherine Corcoran.
After retiring from her career as a dedicated Care Coordinator for Patient Care, Trish discovered a deep passion for travel. Italy, Ireland, Spain, and Portugal were among her favorite destinations. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards with family, and watching football on Sunday afternoons, simple moments that brought her the greatest happiness.
A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 975 Main Street, Branford.
Her legacy is one of gentleness, generosity, and unwavering care for others. She will be profoundly missed and forever treasured in our hearts.
