Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Ruth Butterfield Webb, was born on July 26, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She peacefully returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, surrounded by those she loved most.

Patricia was born to VeLoy Hansen Butterfield and Ruth Tebbs Butterfield, inheriting many of the gentle, faithful, and creative qualities of her mother. From an early age, she showed a deep love for music and the arts, talents that would bless countless lives throughout her lifetime.

She graduated from East High School and attended the University of Utah, where her appreciation for learning, culture, and creativity continued to grow. A gifted musician, Patricia was especially talented on the piano and organ, and she also expressed herself beautifully through her artwork. She even composed her own music, expressing through melody the faith and tenderness that defined her life. Music was not just a skill for her, it was a language of worship, comfort, and connection.

The most important things in Patricia's life were her family and her faith. She was a devoted, lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in many callings. She especially loved serving in music-related callings and found great joy playing the organ and piano in church meetings. She also served as Relief Society President, among many other roles, always giving of herself quietly, faithfully, and without seeking recognition.

Patricia married her eternal companion, Craig Steven Webb, in the Salt Lake Temple on May 25, 1972. Together they built a home centered on love, service, laughter, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She was the loving mother of Wendy Fleming (Brandon), Michael Webb (Lyndsi), and Jennifer Painter (Josh). She was a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren, with another joyfully anticipated. Her love for her family was constant, unwavering, and unconditional, and her influence will be felt for generations.

She is also survived by her loving siblings, Vee Butterfield, Jill Halliday, Carolyn Call, and Valeri Stoddart, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Craig Webb, and her son, Ryan Webb, whose passing left an enduring mark on her heart. She carried that love and loss with grace, faith, and quiet strength.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her deep testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, her artistic and musical gifts, and the way she made people feel seen, loved, and safe. Her life was a testament to steady faith, humble service, and enduring love.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, patience, and care shown to Patricia throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the LDS 33rd Ward Chapel, 453 S. 1100 E., Salt Lake City.

A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday evening, February 5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and again Friday morning from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
