Patrick Edwards Larkin, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, in Arizona. He would have celebrated his 90th birthday on March 20.

Patrick was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and went on to live a life defined by grit, talent, adventure, and deep devotion to his family. He was a loving husband to Dorothy Larkin, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage—a partnership rooted in love, loyalty, and shared dreams.

He was the proud father of three children: Kelly Larkin, Shaun Larkin (who preceded him in death), and Kandi Larkin. Patrick was a devoted family man whose strength, guidance, and work ethic shaped the lives of those he loved.

Patrick was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Kody Baltazar, Kylle Larkin and Sara Larkin, and is survived by Kolton Larkin, Nakojua Baltazar, Chanelle Baltazar, and Zackery Massey. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Aubriella Baltazar, Kensleigh Harn, Isaiah Ramos, Gianna Alcaraz, and Antonio Parra, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

A man of many talents, Patrick lived an extraordinary professional life. He was a former rodeo cowboy and later became a respected SAG-AFTRA actor, stuntman, stunt coordinator, and livestock coordinator. He was the owner and operator of Arizona Stunt Specialties and worked on numerous major motion pictures and television productions, including Braveheart, Wild Wild West, Another 48 Hours, as well as countless commercials for well-known brands such as McDonald's and Burger King.

Patrick also raised his children in the world of motorsports, guiding them to become AMA flat track motorcycle racers—a testament to his passion for adrenaline, discipline, and perseverance.

In addition to his work on screen and set, Patrick was a writer with nine credited works, including the screenplay Fame & Glory. His creativity, fearlessness, and dedication left a lasting mark on the entertainment industry and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Patrick Edwards Larkin will be remembered as a larger-than-life presence—strong, driven, adventurous, and deeply loving. His legacy lives on through his family, his work, and the countless lives he touched.
