Patrick Brian McKanna

Patrick Brian McKanna, age 63, of Wilmington, Illinois passed away on April 17, 2026, at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care in Joliet. Patrick was born on May 10, 1962 to the late Leanne Marie (Clark) and John Roger McKanna in Shorewood Illinois.
Patrick was an avid fisherman/riverman and loved nature and spent his life living on the banks and in the depths of the Dupage and Kankakee Rivers. He was a lifelong construction worker as a member of Local 75 Laborers Union before becoming a Local 150 Heavy Equipment operator.
Patrick is survived by his son Patrick Zachary Taylor McKanna; daughter Brittani McKanna; grandchildren Arabellah, Caleb and Abigail; Siblings Timothy J (Eileen) McKanna; Beth Anne Price, John W (Wendy) McKanna, Winfield Scott (Carla) McKanna and Ryan Taylor (Jennifer) McKanna and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother Leanne Marie and Father John Roger McKanna, and brother in law Tony Price.
At Pats request, cremation rights have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.
