Paul Andrew Ellsworth, 54, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on January 19, 2026. He was the son of the late John H. Ellsworth and Carole Noone (Jim) of Philadelphia, PA. He is survived by his beloved Bestie, Angela Ellsworth, and siblings, Pat (Joe) Civitillo, John H. Ellsworth, Jr. (Lee), Jodi Ellsworth and his sister-in-law, Betty Ellsworth. Paul was uncle to Sarah Donahue (Jeff), Catherine Garvey and Mia Civitillo. He was “favorite” great uncle to Ronan Lee Donahue and Francis Michael Donahue. He was predeceased by his brother, James Austin Ellsworth and niece, Erin Lee Garvey. Paul graduated from Lincoln High School in 1989. Like all human beings, Paul had many aspects to his life and personality, and his faith in the face of adversity was inspiring. He was known for his sly sense of humor and young at heart quality. His journey on this earth was one marked by his unwavering belief in God.
Paul loved all sports, but especially the Phillies and 76ers. He was an avid CD collector and very passionate about all music. His favorite pastime was attending concerts with his Bestie. Paul was known to have more stereo speakers than most concert venues and was often teased by family and friends about all of them.
A private memorial will be held at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. Further details will be shared with those invited. Contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia Addiction Support Group.
