Paul dedicated over three decades to civil service, beginning his career at the Charlestown Navy Yard and later working at Fort Devens in Massachusetts for the Department of the Army. His commitment to his work reflected his steadfast dedication to serving his community and country.
Paul and his beloved wife of 58 years, Ruth Ann, raised their family in Nashua, NH. After retiring from civil service, Paul and Ruth embraced a life filled with adventure and new opportunities. They made homes in Punta Gorda, FL; Frye Island, ME; and Kittery, ME. Together they pursued various post-retirement endeavors that showcased their shared love of the water and community involvement. Among their many ventures were serving as first responders for Frye Island, operating Tow Boat US Frye Island Tow and the Island Explorer tour boat business on Sebago Lake, managing a remodeling business, and Paul's role as assistant harbor master for the town of Kittery. Paul also held a Coast Guard Captain's license—a testament to his passion for life on the water. He enjoyed many afternoons with his friends at Kittery Point and Ponce de Leon Park, Punta Gorda.
