Paul LeBel

Paul Yvon LeBel, aged 84, passed away on April 1, 2026, in Royal Oak, Michigan. Born on April 21, 1941, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Paul brought light and joy to the world with his humor, warmth, and unmistakable personality.

Paul was a one-of-a-kind man who lived with unwavering optimism and deep faith. His genuine kindness and ability to choose joy in every situation left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Family was at the heart of his life; he was the beloved husband of Patricia LeBel for 62 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter.

As a devoted father, Paul cherished his children: Colleen (Greg) McLatchie, Tim (Tania) LeBel, Kerry (Gerard) Surmann, Kathleen Hayden, and Megan Pinter. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to his 10 grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with his family. His legacy of love and connection will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Funeral Mass will be held on April 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shrine of the Little Flower - 2100 W Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI.
