Paul Joseph Sims

Paul J. passed away on October 24, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (nee Avender); devoted father of Eric and Brittany Sims; dear son of the late Stanley E. and Geraldine Sims (Greener) and son-in-law of John A and the late Mary Ann Avender (Henry); loving brother of Barbara Stiles (Dennis), Mark Sims (Anna), John Sims (Cathy), Chris Sims (Colleen), Mike Sims and the late Steve and Rob Sims; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul retired earlier this year after 29 years of dedicated service to the Philadelphia Parking Authority. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family Saturday, November 8th 9:30 AM at Wackerman Funeral Home 8060 Verree Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19111 followed by prayer service 11:30 AM. Interment Private. Donations in his memory to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
