Born April 28, 1949, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Thomas P. and Pauline (Kalina) Kane.

Paulette passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, leaving behind her son Jeremy, his wife Jennifer, and her beloved grandson, Curtis. She was married to Dennis Blair for 55 years—an impressive run by any standard.

A proud Flower Child and lifelong hippie, Paulette held fast to her anti-establishment ideals long after it stopped being fashionable. Always ready to march for a cause, save a whale, or hug a tree, she genuinely believed the world could—and should—be a better place.

As avid birdwatchers, Paulette and Denny spent years traveling the Northwest in their convertible Corvette in search of the next "lifer." After his passing in 2023, her life was never quite the same. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she's now back on the road with him, chasing horizons together once again.
