Pearl Shulman

Our beloved mother Pearl Shulman, 88 of Simsbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Governor's House in Simsbury with her family and friends by her side, following a battle with cancer and other health challenges. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Bessie (Stein) Goldman.

Pearl worked as an Actuary for the Hartford Insurance Company for many years. She cherished time with family and friends and found her greatest joy in her grandchildren who she was proud of. Pearl will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kindness and extraordinary ability to make others feel loved and understood. Her legacy lives on in the values she shared and lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Pearl is survived by her daughters, Michelle Kelly, Sari Gay, son-in-laws Brian Kelly, Arthur Gay, stepchildren Joanne Aronson, Michael Shulman, grandchildren Jordan, Elizabeth, Daniel (U.S. Army), stepgrandchildren Jason and Steven, great grandson Dexter, nieces, nephews and many great friends. She was predeceased by her late husband Charlie “Chaz” Shulman.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 at Molloy Funeral Home 906 Farmington Ave West Hartford CT. Following the service, the family will receive friends and family at Maple Tree Cafe, 781 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT
