Peggy Ann Bambrough, 71, of Bristol, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Hospice Alliance House, Pleasant Prairie, WI, on April 1, 2026. Born on September 10, 1954, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Peggy was the beloved daughter of Wanda (Muhlenbeck) Bambrough and the late Robert Bambrough.
Peg was a kind and gentle soul whose life was deeply rooted in her faith and love for the Lord. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—quiet moments at home, watching birds from her window, strolling through her yard, and cherishing time spent with her family. Her love extended to all creatures great and small, especially her cherished cats who brought her endless comfort and companionship.
A thoughtful spirit with a kind heart, Peg had a passion for reading, writing, and journaling. She possessed a remarkable gift for remembering special moments in life—birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones—and was often the family's go-to historian when it came to recalling important dates. Some of Peg's happiest memories were made camping with loved ones at Governor Dodge State Park. Surrounded by nature and family, these trips were a source of immense joy for her.
Peg cared deeply for her family and took great pride in nurturing relationships with her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She offered them unwavering love, comfort, and kindness throughout their lives. Her gentle spirit and strong faith left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Wanda Bambrough; sisters Diane (David) Swanson; Linda (Ray) Fonk; and Susan Bambrough; as well as her nieces and nephews; Danielle (Kevin) Welker; Rachel (Kevin) Fonk; Deanne (Eddie) Janda; Zachary (Terra) Fonk; David Swanson; and Lindsay (Alfonso Avalos) Fonk. Peg also leaves behind six great-nieces and nephews; Wyatt, Evelyn, Daniel, Raylan, Aria, and Lila. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bambrough.
Peg's gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
