Peggy Anne Dutton (Menard), age 67, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in Concord, New Hampshire. Born on January 24, 1959, in Brookfield, Vermont, Peggy lived a life defined by love, compassion, and dedication to her family and friends.
A proud graduate of Pembroke Academy in 1977, Peggy began her career at Northern Telecom in Concord. However, her true calling was caring for others. She became a Licensed Nursing Assistant at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, where she devoted herself to providing compassionate care to residents in need of memory support. Peggy’s kindness, patience, and strong spirit brought comfort to countless individuals and their families during her years of service.
In retirement, Peggy continued to care for those she loved most. She found joy in tending to her cherished flower gardens at home and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. Peggy also treasured visits to Wells Beach and the simple pleasures of nurturing relationships with those around her.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Scott Dutton; daughters Michelle Preve and Jamie Doe (and husband Ryan Doe); sisters Donna Goodrich (and husband Jerry), Sandie Hillman (and husband Skip), Marie Menard, and Terry Menard; brother Gene Menard (and wife Lynne); sister-in-laws Brenda Meattey (and partner Brent Locke), Shelley Hamel (and husband Mike), and Wendy Houghton (and husband John). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Jordan Manning (and husband Nick), Ava Whitney, Deegan Whitney, Tyler Wood, Jacob Wood (and wife Kyra), and Savannah Wood; great-grandchildren Daniel Wood, Aiden Wood, and Blaine Wood; as well as countless cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Harold Menard and Phyllis Menard Anderson; stepfather Marcel "Ted" Anderson; brothers Michael Menard, Jack Menard, and Joseph Menard; and brother-in-law Bryce Dutton.
Peggy will be remembered for her warmth, unwavering love for her family, compassion for others, and the beautiful gardens she nurtured with the same care she gave to everyone around her. Her legacy of love will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family will honor Peggy with a celebration of life this Spring. May her memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
