Today we honor and remember Perry Triveri.
Perry was the heart of so many cherished family memories. His home was the place everyone gathered, filled with laughter, stories, food, and the kind of celebrations that brought generations together. He loved sitting around the table playing cards with friends, enjoying good company, and doing things the old-school way.
Never afraid to speak his mind, Perry's honesty was a defining part of who he was. You always knew where you stood with him. In the background of so many moments, there was almost always Frank Sinatra playing, providing the soundtrack to a life well lived.
Perry dedicated 40 years of service to the Chicago Forestry Department, where he worked from 1953 to 1993, taking pride in hard work and public service.
For more than 70 years, Perry shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Jean Triveri. Together, they built a marriage rooted in love, loyalty, and family, creating the foundation that continues to hold their family together today. He was a devoted father to four children, Linda, Perry, Jim, and Steve, and a proud grandfather to Perry A., Tatiana, Jimmy, Chris, Nicole, Colleen, and Amy.
He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in family gatherings, shared stories, familiar songs, and the love that binds his family together.
Services will be private and held with immediate family.
