A devoted family man, Peter was the beloved husband of Kathleen and a cherished father to his son Peter Ellement IV, who is married to Karen. He took immense pride in his granddaughters Nicole Boyd (Mike) and Jennifer Ellement and found great joy in being a great-grandfather to Mikey. Peter also shared close bonds with his sisters Margaret Concannon; Kathleen Dunn (the late Ken); Caryl Hedinger (Ray); Barbara Lavey (Don); and the late Maribeth. He was a caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. Peter was preceded in death by his loving parents, Peter and Pearl Ellement JR.

Peter had a lifelong passion for sports and especially loved cheering for the Chicago Cubs. Whether watching games or sharing stories about his favorite teams, he found happiness in these moments of connection with others.

Above all else, Peter will be remembered as a beloved husband, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, and a man who deeply valued family. His memory will live on through those who knew him best.

May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his loss.
